COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE IN THE HEART OF LONDON
A Complete Approach to Your Health & Wellbeing
You might have an exact idea of what type of treatment you would like to choose at the Central London Osteopathy and Sports Injury Clinic — such as physiotherapy, osteopathy, acupuncture or sports massage — but we also offer shiatsu, reflexology, cranial osteopathy, naturopathy, applied kinesiology, pilates and many more treatments.
We have so many treatment choices, so most of our new clients will initially see one of our osteopaths or physiotherapists, who are skilled in making the correct diagnosis and treatment plan. Your treatment could involve more than one practitioner to achieve optimal results — for example, your osteopath might recommend one of our sports massage therapists to stabilise the muscle protection around the troubled area, or your physiotherapist might recommend one of our acupuncturists or shiatsu practitioners when the problem involves more than just the structural elements.
Whether you have back pain, frozen shoulder, post-surgical knee pains and you are not sure whether to see an osteopath or physiotherapist — our advice is either of them, since our physiotherapists are very much hands-on and you can expect effective manual treatment. We originally started with only osteopaths and sports massage therapists, hence our name, but over many years we have added new complementary therapies including physiotherapy and acupuncture.
OUR THERAPIES
Treatments We Offer
Each therapy is delivered by experienced, registered practitioners who work together to create the most effective treatment plan for your individual needs.
OSTEOPATHY
Osteopathy in London
At Central London Osteopathy and Sports Injury Clinic all osteopaths have many years of experience behind them and that will benefit you — especially if you have a very acute pain or something more complex that requires a seasoned practitioner. Our osteopaths are experts at diagnosing the root cause of your discomfort and developing a tailored treatment plan that gets you back to full health as quickly as possible.
PHYSIOTHERAPY
Physiotherapy in London
Are you in pain and not able to get better? Please see one of our physiotherapists. We have a team of highly skilled physiotherapists who are very much hands-on in their approach. Whether you are recovering from surgery, dealing with a chronic condition, or need rehabilitation after a sports injury, our physiotherapists will work closely with you to restore mobility and strength through targeted manual therapy and bespoke exercise programmes.
SPORTS MASSAGE
Sports Massage in London
SPORTS MASSAGE — NOT ONLY FOR ATHLETES. In general you can expect a deep, therapeutic massage to help your back pain, shoulder tension, pulled muscles and more. Whether you sit at a desk all day or train for competitive sport, sports massage targets the deeper layers of muscle tissue to break down adhesions, reduce inflammation, and promote faster recovery. Our sports massage therapists are among the most experienced in Central London.
ACUPUNCTURE
Acupuncture in London
Our acupuncturists use specific points to achieve the best acupuncture treatment results — we are located in Central London. Acupuncture works to help maintain your body’s equilibrium by focusing on all aspects of wellbeing, physical, mental and emotional. It involves the insertion of very fine needles into specific points which are said to adjust and alter the body’s energy flow into healthier patterns.
PREGNANCY MASSAGE
Pregnancy Massage in London
Change, even welcome change, is stressful. The tension caused by stress, along with the physical changes of pregnancy, can take a real toll on your body. Our pregnancy massage therapists are specially trained to provide safe, nurturing treatment that helps ease back pain, reduce swelling, relieve muscle tension and improve sleep quality throughout all stages of pregnancy.
CRANIAL OSTEOPATHY
Cranial Osteopathy in London
Some of our osteopaths specialise in cranial osteopathy. Much like structural osteopathy, cranial osteopathy encourages the release of stresses and tensions throughout the body using gentle, subtle techniques. It is particularly suitable for babies, children, pregnant women and the elderly, though people of all ages can benefit. Cranial osteopathy works with the body’s natural rhythms to support healing from within.
SWEDISH MASSAGE
Swedish Massage in London
Our Swedish massage therapists are all qualified and registered with their professional bodies, but most important, they live up to the high treatment standards set in the Central London Osteopathy and Sports Injury Clinic. Swedish massage uses long, flowing strokes to improve circulation, ease muscle tension and promote deep relaxation — making it an ideal treatment for those dealing with everyday stress and fatigue.
NATUROPATHY
Naturopaths in London
Naturopathy is a part of the education of some of our osteopaths. Naturopaths work from the premise that the body has an inherent ability to heal itself given the right conditions. Through nutritional advice, lifestyle adjustments and natural remedies, our naturopaths support your body’s own recovery processes. It is a holistic approach that looks at the whole picture of your health — not just the symptoms.
SHIATSU
Shiatsu in London
Shiatsu is one of the most exceptionally versatile forms of bodywork. Alexandra Evans provides shiatsu treatment which can be stress-relieving, invigorating or simply very relaxing. Using finger and palm pressure along the body’s energy channels, shiatsu helps restore balance, improve circulation and release deep-seated tension. Many of our clients find it particularly helpful for managing stress, insomnia and digestive issues.
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology in London
Reflexology has been shown to improve circulation, relaxation and adjusts and balances your body during times of stress. Your body is reflected in your feet, ears and hands. The whole body has reflex zones on the feet, so a reflexologist will treat the client by working on their feet using various specific techniques with their thumbs and fingers. Reflexology brings about a balance to the body and healing is both initiated and accelerated with this treatment.
TUI NA & CHI GONG
Tui Na & Chi Gong
Shifu Quan Jun Liu came over from mainland China — where he amongst other places studied at the Shaolin Temple — to share his skills in the Eastern arts of treatment, health and martial arts. Tui Na is a form of Chinese therapeutic massage that uses rhythmic compression along energy channels to restore the flow of Qi through the body. Combined with Chi Gong breathing exercises, it offers a powerful route to improved vitality and balance.
PEAK PERFORMANCE
Peak Performance for Elite Athletes
The team at the Central London Osteopathy and Sports Injury Clinic has developed a unique approach to accelerate recovery from sports injuries — and, for top athletes, to enhance peak performance by fine-tuning the body’s biomechanics. Trusted by Olympic champions and professional sportspeople, our practitioners combine advanced manual therapy with sport-specific rehabilitation to help you perform at your absolute best.
PODIATRY
Podiatry & Orthotics
Podiatry is the assessment and treatment of the foot structure. Walking problems, toe joint and arch pain, heel pain, and pulled muscles in the foot are just some of the conditions our podiatrists can help with.
LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
Manual Lymphatic Drainage
All manual lymph drainage techniques have specific similarities in that the fingers and hands move the skin in rhythmic movements, encouraging the lymphatic system to work more efficiently and supporting the body’s natural detoxification processes.
PILATES
Pilates in London
Pilates trains your core stability and is excellent for rehabilitation exercises in the recovery from injury. Pilates is a safe and highly effective low-impact way to strengthen muscles, improve posture and increase flexibility — often recommended by our osteopaths as part of a long-term recovery plan.
KOBIDO & MORE

CLIENT REVIEWS
What People Say
BACK PAIN RELIEF
“During my business trip to London, I twisted my back and was in pain. I found Central London Osteopathy and got an appointment just a couple of hours later. I was referred to Ange who treated me very professionally in such a way that my back was much better after the session. He has a very good understanding of the body and knew exactly what to do. I definitely can recommend Ange and the osteopathy.”
— Patrick, Business Traveller
CHRONIC PAIN
“Outstanding clinic. I have been visiting for 18+ months. The combined expertise helped me overcome a long-term back/hip issue, and uncovered the source of the problem almost immediately after more than 10 years of seeking treatment elsewhere. On-going treatment with Stephanie has been an absolute game-changer, and has allowed me to get back into weight training pain free. Cannot recommend highly enough!”
— S. Tierney
SPORTS INJURY
“Amazing team, very very good at sports or pain relief both for massages and osteopathy. I won’t go anywhere else. The level of care and attention to detail is second to none. Whether you need deep tissue work after training or treatment for a niggling injury that won’t shift, these are the people to see.”
— Kingsley Macey

Multidisciplinary Healthcare in the Heart of Old Street
There is something to be said for having all your healthcare needs met in one place. When you walk into our clinic on Old Street, you are not stepping into a single-discipline practice — you are entering a building that houses over sixteen different therapeutic disciplines, each one staffed by practitioners who have been carefully vetted for both their clinical skill and their ability to work as part of a team.
That collaborative approach is really what makes this clinic tick. A patient might come in with what they think is a straightforward case of lower back pain, only to discover through assessment that the root cause lies in their gait, their posture at work, or tension patterns they have been carrying for years. In cases like that, it is not unusual for one of our osteopaths to bring in a sports massage therapist or a physiotherapist to address different layers of the problem simultaneously. You get the benefit of multiple expert opinions without having to traipse across London to different appointments.
We see people from every background. City workers who have spent years hunched over screens. Builders and tradespeople whose bodies have taken a hammering. New mothers dealing with the physical aftermath of pregnancy. Weekend warriors who have overdone it on the football pitch. Professional athletes preparing for competition. Elderly patients managing chronic conditions. The common thread is that everyone who comes through our door gets the same level of focused, individualised attention.
Our location at 325-327 Old Street places us right in the centre of things — easily reachable from Old Street, Shoreditch High Street, Moorgate and Liverpool Street stations, and well served by buses from all directions. Whether you are coming from the City, Islington, Angel, Canary Wharf, Hackney or further afield, getting to us is straightforward. And with opening hours that stretch from early morning to 8pm on weekdays (with weekend availability too), fitting treatment into a busy schedule is rarely a problem.
If you are not sure which therapy is right for you, that is absolutely fine. In fact, most of our new patients start by booking in with an osteopath or physiotherapist, who will carry out a thorough assessment and then recommend the best course of action — which might involve one therapy or a combination of several. It is one of the real advantages of a multidisciplinary clinic: the treatment finds you, rather than the other way around.
